I tested this square for Smooth Fox and it really turned out well........except for one thing. I hate the colors. I liked them from the beginning but somewhere there it became too bright and the colors seemed to all run together. But the pattern was great, just my color scheme off today.
If you haven't been to her site you really should, she has a lot of free patterns and it is just a great place to visit. I'll have a link to her below.
Well, it wasn't a lost square because my neighbor loved it so much that I gave it to her and she is adding it to the center of a gift she is making for Christmas. So, I guess I did okay on it anyway. I suppose I'd better quit talking and get back to work, to stop talking is just impossible for me to do.....I heard that laughing =)

I think it's the yellow Molly. If it was a more toned down yellow it would be better. Having said that it would make a great focus square just the way it is. Glad your neighbour can use it. It is a great block. Plus the more I look at it in August the more I realize on a cold February day it would be great. The winter is so dreary here and this would be a spot of bright to lift my mood. Good job.
ReplyDeleteBright and cheerful, just love it! K
ReplyDeleteWith a navy blue border, you would be able to find your seat in a stadium in a heartbeat! It is bright, but perfect for a child's room with the primary colors... you did good... looking forward to your next visit...
ReplyDeleteI have to stay that I really like the colours, rather eye-catching. Glad it went to good use for your friends gift.
ReplyDeleteI love the Square Molly,
ReplyDeletehugs and love to you Suex
This is so strange - I thought I was one of your Followers for quite some time and now I'm discovering I wasn't, so I just followed you just now.
ReplyDeleteThat sqaure is intruiging and beautiful in it's own right. Even though it's rather bright, I think that's the beauty of it - it refuses to be ignored, shouting: LOOK AT ME! I really like it. I think it would look lovely in a setting amongst darker, solid squares, though, to really make it pop, like maybe black or dark blue solids?
Oh, no! Only 116 Days till Christmas - I'm late! I'm serious!
Hey....Bright is beautiful. Great one Molly!
