Well, here is my bright triangle square, so what do you think? I love it, I am doing better about getting out of my comfort zone of just using pastel colors. The dark color is purple, it is sorta hard to see in this photo, I am so glad that it is made all at once because I would hate to have to sew all these pieces together. I think I am really going to have to make a small blanket out of this type of square, in my free time of course?????
Have any of y'all ever wondered where I spend a lot of my crochet time? Well it's at a place called Crochet Soiree, I think I might have mentioned it on here before, but if you've never been there you are most definitely missing a treat. I honestly don't know how many members are on there but it is in the thousands and talk about a friendly and sharing place, this is it. We have friendly people here in blogland but at Crochet Soiree there are so many things to read, places to shop, lessons, free patterns, and the list just keeps going. As a matter of fact we are starting a CAL Scarf project on April 5, we are using a pattern designed by Tamara Gonzales, and no don't ask me what color mine will be because it is a secret....even from me!! We are all excited to see what everyone's scarf will look like since we are all using the same pattern what is going to catch our eye is going to be our color combinations.
You know what I just thought of? Why don't some of you come over and join in the fun? There is no entry fee and you will have a good time I promise. Oh wait, I'm wrong, there is an entry fee. It's a photo of your finished scarf so we can all ooooh and aaaaah over it, now that's not too much to ask is it? The link to Crochet Soiree is below, all you have to do is click on it and come visit and I promise you that you will be impressed. See you there!

I like these colors Molly. I too tend to stay with the same colors, so it's good to break out every once in awhile and try something new! I keep meaning to go check out Crochet Soiree, thank you for the link.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty and colorful square. I've never made one of those before. I'm still crocheting Easter gifts, so I can't join anything right now, but I will later - after I get some afghan squares made for you;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice evening,
Doris :-)
Wow Molly, I just love the square and your choice of colors! I don't know about anyone else but I could see the purple. I know I'll be in on the CAL but I'm like you I still don't know what yarn I'm going to use. LOL
ReplyDeleteloving these triangle squares Molly...I'm going to have to make something with them:-)
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Alison.
I fell in love with this colorful square when Sue first showed up. Looks so pretty in the afghan she make. Have you made up the pattern for it. I would dearly love it if you do, I think it is adorable. I am on Flickr all the time as ed4448. Thank you I just found your blog will follow it. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy, I live in Tennessee
