Potholder, Dishcloth, Or Purse??

Do you have a little girl that would like a cute purse?  I have a 5 yr. old g-daughter that I hope to get one finished for, I will post a photo...if it's decent!  You know we see so many of these cute little dresses as potholders and to go on our bottles of dishwashing liquid, but I would never have thought to make it a purse.  i am so glad there are so many smart people out there. Cathy at Cats-Rockin-Crochet did this darling project and she has fixed up a fantastic tutorial for all of us to see exactly how she made it.  Her instructions are so very clear, you will love it.  You will have time to get one or two or ????  made before Easter so it will match that little ones dress.  Of course, my g-daughter is going to want to use it as her Easter Basket, she's just a little hard-headed?  Wonder where she gets it?  Oh, well, on to the important things, the link below will take you to Cathy and her instructions and tutorials and the photo on the left is just "one" that she has there.  The photo on the right is one that Tina from Beansie Babbles made for Valentines.  So off you go and off I go to get back to work.  Take care my friends, and remember to smile.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing my pattern. I write my patterns for all to use and I do not mind a bit that you linked to it and wrote about it. It is there for all to share and hopefully bring joy to any one. Another user of this pattern actually made dresses for her grandaughters with the pattern. Cheerio and thank you for sharing!

  2. This is so interesting. I just saw this pattern on another blog's post today for the first time. She was posting it on her Red Wednesday meme...what a coincidence. I saved the pattern for later. It's very cute!

  5. I just discovered your sweet blog through Beansie Babbles, and I love, love it. I've been a crocheter since I was about 6 or 7 years old..and that's been a long time now. I also love collecting crochet patterns, tho I don't crochet so much anymore, specially with the crochet cotton thread. It's gotten to fine for my eyes, but I do still love making afghans.
I love this sweet little dress pattern you've shown here. I may try one of them for myself.
I've become a follower and have your button on two blogs of mine... come visit when you can..
