A cup of tea anyone?

I have a dear friend here online that collects tea pots, actually she has over 200 of them.  I would say that's a pretty good collection wouldn't you?  Anyway, when I saw this pattern I thought this one is just crying out her name.  She is just one of the sweetest and nicest people in the world.  There is always a good word or a pick me up phrase coming out of her mouth and there is a smile right behind it.  She has only been crocheting about one year but she has done some fantastic work and I am so proud to call her my friend.  I suppose I should tell you her name, wouldn't that be nice?

She is Barbara Moore from Moore Whimsies at  so when you have time pop over there and visit for awhile.  The link below is to the pattern for the tea cosy pictured above.  I thought it was just so pretty, I hope you like it too, and remember that Mother's Day isn't far off.

  1. Oh, that is absolutely charming - thanks so much for sharing that pattern. I drink a lot of tea, but don't actually have a traditional tea pot. I may have to buy one just so I can make that cozy to fit ;-) It's lovely!

Have a wonderful day today :-)

  2. That's something I've always wanted to make, but just haven't yet!.. "One of these days!", right?! Yours is really sweet, though, and certainly is inspiring! I love it! ~tina

  3. Oooooo Molly, you really got me inspired with this one! I've crocheted three or four teapot cosies but not this one!LOL I think you are just the sweetest person, my friend and I'm honored to have such a friend as you. Isn't it wonderful at all the terrific people that you meet here in blogland? The talent and creativeness that you see everywhere you look is just mind boggling. I really love the looks of this teapot cozy and will think of you every time it's used.

  4. I agree with Barbara, great people in Blogland and its always so nice to see what they make.
    Interesting post Molly.
