One Project Finished

Remember the other day when I was talking about this wonderful yarn I received, and how soft it was and how beautiful it is?  Well, I finished the scarf so now all I have to make is the hat.  This yarn is so chunky that it quickly works up so it shouldn't take me all that long to make my hat.....well, hopefully it won't.  I hope my photo shows the yarn well enough, I am not the best photographer in the world.

My project after the hat is I want to make a beaded purse, well actually it is not really a purse it is just a small bag that hangs from a crocheted chain and you wear it around your neck.  I have no idea what yarn I'll use or what color, plus I haven't decided on what sort of beads I will use.  So what have I decided on ?  Nothing---except that I am going to make this little bag.  Same thing happens to me when it is time for supper---what are we going to eat ?  But I never get into trouble on that 'cause I can always find food around here somewhere.

Okay, here's the photo of my scarf, I really like it.  Now just figure out which g-child gets it for Christmas.  Take care everybody.

  1. Very, very nice...good luck about picking out who gets it. Maybe you'll have to make more!

  2. Molly,

I love to make scarves when I don't know what else to make. I love your scarf and whoever ends up with it will love it too.

  3. Yes, where there's a will, there's a way! If I have my mind set to something, I WILL find a way, somehow or other!!.. LOVE your scarf Molly!.. And I look forward to seeing this little beaded bag on a chain! I made one myself once, putting a lucky penny into it for safe keeping!.. Have a great day! ~tina

  4. Isn't it nice to find a wonderful, soft yarn? The potential! LOL

93 days to Christmas? Really?! I'd better get to crocheting!

  5. Lovely scarf! If I had several grand schildren (as opposed to NONE!!!) then I would wrap each gift and let them pick - sort of like a White Elephant gift exchange. This way it takes the guesswork out and you can be sure everyone gets what they want...just a suggestion.

Happy Autum and happy crocheting :-)

  7. Looks great and looks like a fun scarf. I like Doris idea of wrapping without names and letting the kids choose one. Never thought of that.
