These are called Twinkling Stars, they are sort of a Granny Square turned into a star. They also work up very fast, these I am going to make to hang on a friends tree. I don't know if you can see it or not but I made 2 stars out of thread just to see how they would look. One is white and the other is gold, I guess they turned out okay but I really like the yarn ones much better. Plus they are much faster and are easier on these old eyes. Here is the link to both patterns and I hope you have as much fun making them as I did. Although, I must admit I'm not through yet. Take care everyonehttp://theroyalsisters.blogspot.com

Isn't this the cutest Christmas Tree? It took me about 5 minutes to make this. It would have been nice if I had blocked it or at least straightened it up a little bit before I took the picture, but i'm not one to pay attention to what I am doing all the time. Does that surprise anybody here? I didn't think so. 8>) I think I am going to make a bunch of these to add to the gifts we have to mail down to Texas. The only other thing I can think to do is add a star button to the top of it and I think that will be just perfect. Okay, on to the next photo.
